Ingredients
Coquito Base
1 cancoconut cream14 ounces
1 canevaporated milk12 ounces
1 cansweetened condensed milk14 ounces
1cupwhite rum
1 tspvanilla extract
1/2 tspground cinnamon
1/4 tspground nutmeg
1/4 cupwater
1 cupwhite sugar
Instructions
In a blender, combine the coconut cream, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, white rum, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Blend until well mixed.
In a saucepan, combine the water and white sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves and you have a simple syrup. Let it cool.
Add the cooled simple syrup to the blender with the other ingredients and blend until everything is well combined.
Pour the Coquito mixture into glass bottles or containers and refrigerate until chilled. It's best served cold. Shake well before serving.
Notes
Coquito can be garnished with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon or a cinnamon stick when serving. Enjoy responsibly, as it contains alcohol.
