Teriyaki Glazed Salmon in the Air Fryer

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 Salmon Filet
  • 1 teaspoon ginger chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch or flour
  • 2 cups cooked rice

Instructions

  • Make the teriyaki salmon marinade by combining soysauce, ginger, garlic, rice vinegar, onion powder and brown sugar in a bowl, whisk well and reserve 1/3 cup of marinade
  • Pour teriyaki marinade in a zip lock, place salmon without skin, allow to marinate for 15-30 minutes ( max 2 hours)
  • Preheat air fryer at 400 degrees, using tongs place salmon in air fryer, about 12 minutes ( depends how thick salmon is
  • While salmon is cooking use remaining marinade and add 2 tablespoon water and cornstarch. The glaze will thicken up.
  • Once salmon is done add glaze, then serve over a bed of rice or veggies
