Beef and Broccoli

Equipment

  • 1 Skillet or Wok

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Cornstarch divided
  • 1/2 cups Water
  • 2 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 lb Boneless Round Steak any thin steak work
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 4 cups Broccoli Florets Fresh or Frozen
  • 1 cup small onion
  • 1/3 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 cups Cooked White Rice

Instructions

  • In a bowl combine 2 tbsp Cornstartch, 2 tbsp water, and garlic power combine
    3 tbsp Cornstarch, 2 tbsp Garlic Powder, 1/2 cups Water
  • Add Beef and toss
    1 lb Boneless Round Steak
  • In a large skillet or Wok over med/high heat stir fry Beef in 1 tbsp of oil until beef is cooked; and remove
    1 lb Boneless Round Steak, 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • Cook Broccoli and onion (about 8 minutes) and return beef
    4 cups Broccoli Florets, 1 cup small onion
  • Combine soy sauce, brown sugar and remaining cornstarch and water until smooth; add to pan
    1/2 cups Water, 1/3 cup Soy Sauce, 2 tbsp Brown Sugar, 3 tbsp Cornstarch
  • Cook and stir for about 2 minutes until sauce thickens
  • Serve over rice
    2 cups Cooked White Rice
